Anyone ready for an anti-consumerist movement?

Based on my previous thread which I'm struggling to link to using my phone someone suggested I start an anti consumerist movement.

I'm talking
Less stuff - do you need it?
Stuff that enhances your life - do you love it?
Time - do you need to do it? Is it fulfilling? What does it bring to your life, your well-being?
Food - does it help your body? Does it add toxins? Do you need it? Is it mindless consumption?

I'm not talking about depriving myself to become an eco warrior. I'm thinking about mindful ways to improve my life.

Is anyone up for reviving this thread with 2019 approaching?

I’m making a conscious effort to be a more mindful consumer and to further reduce my own family’s environmental impact.

I'm keen to join in with this and have started de-cluttering, but it's a slow process. We're mortgage free and want to downsize and move to the local small city, rather than the tiny village, where we now are. That way, we would be on a bus route and could get rid of one car. We grow vegetables, so would be looking for an allotment, instead of a big garden. I also want to do a year of buying no clothes, since I seem to have loads. If I lose weight I'll have even more and eating less meat could be the way to do that. Looking forward to hearing about other people's plans and achievements.
