Just did the quick one and we come out a litle below average (halo emoticon)

I'm doubting this calculator as it only reckined my folks footprint was 12.67 - that was including 6 short haul and 2 long haul flights (one way). On other calculators I've seen flights make much more of an impact. They also only recycle about 40% (on a good day) of their rubbish.

I'm going to find a different one and compare, just for the hell of it!

I don't get how my footprint is just below average at 9.5. We don't have a car, we're too poor to fly anywhere, use A rated appliances, switch off most things when not in use, recycle/compost everything we can. I would shower if we had one but we don't yet...but I don't bathe as often as I would like due to DS.

Our terraced house does still have the original sash windows but I don't see how getting the plastic windows out is going to save the planet.

Mine is only 2.67, think this is because I don't drive and walk almost anywhere.
Did find it a bit unfair though as all the questions about heating your home and things don't really apply because I don't have central heating. Only use electricity to heat water and power things.

Here's a better one, I think
