I want to start a new line of reusable sanitary products and was hoping to get some feedback from some of my fellow mumsnetters. I've been a regular here since my son was born last year, but have name changed to talk about my business idea as it's very outing!

I currently use washable pads, but feel there is room for improvement on what's in the market.

What do you all think?
Likes and dislikes about the product you use?
Areas that could be improved?
Price point?

I'll take any feedback I can get! TIA Smile

Looking into H shaped ones for my daughter who does horse riding.

I'd love to see sets of period pants with pads which attach with poppers and can be changed instead of having to put new pants on. I sew my own pads and pants separately at the moment but am far to lazy/busy to actually get round to working out proper patterns for my idea!

I am still working on this. It's taking much longer than I ever imagined. I have a prototype but don't have a manufacturer yet. I actually have plans for pants with a remove able insert but I don't have enough funding to do pants at this stage.

I'll keep you all posted as I'm desperately trying to bring my pads to market ASAP.

I just wanted to update you all since your advice was really helpful. I'm still developing the line of washable pads, but I've recently launched a line of menstrual cups and have a range of accessories too. Thank you lovely ladies for your assistance. Pads are in the testing phases and fingers crossed I can get them to market early next year. I honestly can't believe how long it's taking, but I guess if starting your own business/brand was easy, everyone would be doing it.

You can view the line at www.fialuna.com. Plus, I am doing a give away until Sept 13 if you are interested :)
