Loose tea recommendations

I've been thinking about switching from bags to loose tea (because of the plastic in the bags) but when I look at packaging am not sure.
At the moment I get a large cardboard box of bags which has film round it. Loose teas I have seen have cardboard and then an inner foil bag which seems to cancel out the point of getting the loose stuff?
(No bulk options locally unfortunately afaik)

Apparently PG Tips loose leaf has no plastic, but this is something I've been told not seen for myself.

I haven't seen any loose leaf teas in supermarkets / high street type shops that aren't packaged in a plastic-y bag inside the cardboard box. I've been told you can get them mail order but am not sure how eco-friendly that is really.

We have a T2 posh tea shop near where I work which I think sells loose leaf by the scoop - but I think it will be expensive!

Not much help, sorry!

Confirms what I've seen so far....I have a T2 and Whittards handy but they are £££
