I've run out of washing up liquid. What can I use as an alternative, if anything?

I have in my house:

Lemon
Vinegar
Borax
Bicarb

I've googled and all the green sites give lots of recipes for carpet cleaners, surface cleaners etc., but for straightforward common or garden washing up, I can't find anything.

Any tips?

Bicarb is brilliant for cutting through grease and should dissolve in good hot water

Just bicarb on its own in hot water?

We were out camping and forgot the dishwashing liquid so I used shampoo just rinse well like you would with normal stuff.

Oh and I have used liquid hand soap too. I dont know any natural remedies.

Shampoo! - strongest one you have in - cuts grease etc.

(I have washed my hair with washing-up liquid in the distant past so it seems far )

But is shampoo environmentally friendly?

I really want to know if I can use something permanently that's not washing up liquid, just for washing up.

I suspect not.

I suspect not too. Are you an Ecover Denier?
Their clothes detergent doesn't convince me but their washing up liquid is good and mild on hands
