Hi
Being the token greeny in my antenatal group, I said I would get some tips for the rest of the guys on how to be green with a baby and would love any top tips anyone has for us! Obviously there's nappies and reusable wipes ( or even the Co op bio degrabale wipes) - but what else should we do?
Thanks

oh AND

public transport can be quite fun, kids like it

they also like using local shops, give them their own basket and a list (with pictures for littlies-use google images).

Get a Sudspump your hand soap will last ten times longer and you don't need to rinse with water.

Basicly remember
Reduce, reuse , recycle.

Use a Toy library & book library rather than buying new everything all the time. Walk, cycle or use public transport when you can rather than the car. minimise laundry by re wearing clean enough things. Wash on the lowest possible temp setting very little needs washing at 60 these days. Line dry. chose local products when possible over inported ones.

2nd hand / passed down clothes and toys, reusable nappies and wipes. washable breast pads.

Compost and recycle what ever is practical in your situation. Buy recycled goods.
