Recycling /repairing pushchairs

I have 4 pushchairs that i want to get rid of - can't really sell them - charity shops won't take them.I have received the freecycle suggestion and Woman's aid - but the pushchairs are not in perfect conditions and need some fixing / wheels changed - Is there a place that would fix them before they can be of use to someone?? Thank you

I think it depends on the make. I know Graco sell sparre parts, not sure about others. I myself would like some new wheels on my MacClaren umbrella buggy, but don't know if that's possible.

out of necessity when the dds were babies, we bought a second hand 3 in 1 pram. After dd1 we had to get new adjusting nut things fitted by the local pram shop. After dd2 we gave it to a charity shop (1996) who were very glad to take it.
Also 2nd hand highchair, cot (new matress) - from a friend £50, sold it back to her 4 years later for £40.

We replaced the wheels on our 5yr old mclaren volo, it was not a cheap option, could probably have found a better/cheaper 2nd hand one, but my ds is 2 and 7 months and I just kind of hope this buggy will survive until he can be pram free, at least through the winter, I walk everywhere so really could do with somethng much more robust,

freecycling people will take anything. honestly. very often people can get fixed themselves for the fraction of the cost of a new pushchair.
