Why not just only put a little water in the normal cheap kettle?

Honestly baffled, not trying to be bitchy

i know what you mean flamey, but in reality I can't be arsed to fill the kettle just a little bit umpteen times a day!

lazy i guess

We always just put in a smaller amount of water - to cover what we will need, plus a bit more incase. I don't like the taste of tea made with reboiled water as much as fresh.

I do quite like filling kettles full (yes, I'm odd), so it does sound a good idea... I just can't stand the idea of spending that much on a kettle!

I think it sounds like a great product. Fill it up, and if you've only one cuppa to boil, you just knock off 150 mls; if you've got a load of friends round you do the full monty. Sound.

out of interest how does it save water?

Just wondering also if you drink out of mugs as that will cock up your cup measuring.

I 'm surprised it's only £33 normally stuff like this is way more than normal things.

It saves electricity not water furball

it says on the website

Using Eco Kettle will save electricity, it will save water, it will save time (it boils really quickly) and it saves money.

Ps Shazronnie - Are you comming to the meetup on the 6th? - Have a shuft Here .

sorry furball, I didn't read that bit. I'm not sure how you'd save water, unless you were in the habit of emptying the kettle everytime you refilled it.
