Alternative to Ironing Water

Hope this is in the right place, this is my first post in EL!

My Comfort ironing water is about to run out, so could anyone recommend a more natural alternative or even making my own? I'm in the process of replacing all my household products with less chemically stuff.

I live in a hard water area, so not sure I can put tap water in the iron?

TIA

stop ironing?

Do you use a dehumidifier? The water out of that is distiller water.

I use water from the dehumidifier too, and I never ever have to descale my iron

If you use a condenser tumble dryer, the collected water is distilled, and can be used as ironing water.

I use kettle water and add this? it makes my ironing smell so fresh. It's only a couple of pounds from pound stretcher or home barging and lasts ages! No oil so no stain marks ??
