I'm on the look out for a slim, small drinks bottle to go in a lunchbox. something about teh size/ shape of a fruit juice cartoon. 200-300ml.

Anyone got ideas? will consider buying a branded drink if it gets me the right size bottle to re-use. Sick of recycling mini tetra pack, would prefer to reduce and reuse.

Not sure if it's the kind of thing you are looking for but our local library vending machine sells mini bottles of Vittel water for 45p. I think they are 250ml small square bottles, short and stubby rather than tall and long.

A bit random I know but I could get you one today and post it if you want. I realise that does sound very odd but I hae neer seen them anywhere else :o

I had a look in Germany, as they are good with things like that there and came across this.

It is an online shop for medical equipment - maybe you could look in UK if you can find something similar.

Have a look in the supermarket - plenty of drinks branded for kids are in small bottles - tropicana go, flavoured water etc. and can all be re-used (although some shrink in the dishwasher)

lakeland used to do one. flat-ish rectangle, with a flip up straw.

was a few years back, thoguh.

I'll pop into lakeland in half term (next time I'll be in city) and also check the big supermarkets. Locally I can only get round bottles with a diameter that doesn't fit the box, while a square cartoon fits perfectly.

I still think that the one Green Bottle bottles are the best available. They aren't very slim, but they do come in 350ml size and they fit in my sons' lunch boxes. They are really easy to wash and very durable. And they are made out of steel not aluminium so they're 'better' for you.

Thanks for the link pigeon. All too fat to fit. Its a bento style box boy uses, very small and neat.
