Childs UN right to privacy - Can it be waived?!

Trying to find out if a parent can legally waive their childs right to privacy from the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. Any ideas?! Its with regards to tv companies filming in schools. Many thanks.

Article 16 covers this and is about arbitrary or unlawful interference with privacy, and unlawful attacks on the child's honour or reputation

Filming with parental consent would not be a breach of this.

Thanks Edith. The consent is there. I just dont feel its 'informed' consent ie, the parents and kids dont know the level of online abuse they may get! Also not sure if its been translated adequately for EAL parents and children. And worried about the level of consent and safeguarding issues where kids are filmed and then blurred out. Anyway, thanks for the input.
