Hi, I’m researching safety alarms for older people and hoping for some honest views from people who’ve been through it. Every alarm I’ve seen looks like a medical device. I keep reading that older parents refuse them or leave them in a drawer, because they don’t feel old or frail, or just dislike the look. If you’ve dealt with this: - Did your parent wear theirs? If not, what put them off? - Was it the look, feeling ‘old’, the hassle of charging it, or something else? - What would have made them wear it?
