Any home shopping tips

My mum is living in an "aging in place " facility and desperate to keep some independence by having her own shopping delivered. She has dementia, masks very well but essentially is living in the moment. She's rational in most moments but has very little memory.

Carers help her put her shop together and then put it away but its delivered to her (care is council funded so doesn't cover the actual delivery). She's been using Ocado but they are very unreliable, arriving over an hour late so she misses her carer slot or as today cancelling because "no-one was home" when she spoke to them and let them in. We also have an issue with the flash sales because it offers food She's allergic to.

However, she really needs the shopping in bags as she's too frail. Are there any supermarkets (one with a good range for people with allergies so not Iceland sadly) that deliver in bags but pay attention to vulnerable customers?

Worth speaking to Ocado first?

They will bring mine in and put on kitchen table for me if I ask them. Could she put it away herself slowly if it was inside.

I sometimes have my tea trolley waiting by the door when they come so they load onto that.

We use Morrisons for my DPs they seem to be quite reliable around their one hour slots.

It’s worth looking at whether there are any local delivery services (rather than national chains).

Also, asking around the place she lives.

There are some that are almost a build on the old style milkman+ and while it’s a much narrower range it has the more individual service.

We use Waitrose for my mum's shopping. They phone me even if they will be 15 minutes late.

Going back a while but late FIL used to have Wiltshire Farm Foods deliveries after MIL died as he couldn’t really cook himself but wanted some independence. They seemed to use the same driver for particular areas so he became a familiar face. Bonus was that he would bring the meals in and put them away in the freezer.
FIL used to order over the phone from a brochure.
Not the cheapest of places but FIL was so proud of being able to manage it himself.
Downside though is that it’s ready meals only so no bread, milk, toiletries etc sadly.

edited to say: they do have a free from range but it’s tiny.

I’d definitely consider Waitrose. I think they will do what she needs.

Thanks so much everyone. I think I have a solution with Sainsbury's.

I’ve been using Tesco in Plymouth for the past 18 months for my very elderly in-laws. They have been great, never missed a delivery and the couple of times there has been an issue re being a bit early or late they phone me right away. They bring the food into the house in crates and unload onto the table for them to put away. I did make sure it said on the delivery notes that they are elderly and vulnerable.
