Ideas to keep active 81 entertained

My uncle has recently found out he had 2 mini strokes and is now struggling to walk. He is the most active person, let alone 81 year old. Cycles, jogs, yoga... an inspiration. But now he is really struggling to stay at home.
Any ideas on what I can buy him, I know that is sooo vague, but genuinely, any ideas are a starting point. Books, jigsaws, anything else? Thank you.

Sorry to hear about your uncle’s strokes. For present ideas it depends on budget really. A kindle or even an iPad mini that he can use for reading, listening to podcasts, radio, games like sudoku might be nice. Puzzles are always good. There are adult Lego sets if you want something about different. I got my mum a set from the botanical range (the orchid) and she really enjoyed making it and it has pride of place in her living room. You can even get lights to go on them from Amazon.

Is it predicted that his walking will improve? Because something that could speed recovery might be appreciated. (My mother-in-law asked to borrow our exercise bike when her legs were weakened by a stroke 🙂). Maybe a balance board?

Lego is a good idea. He has all the technology. Honestly, he's the youngest 81 ever, which is why it's impacting him (& my aunty 😂).
