Birthday ideas for bed bound uncle?

He is a recent stroke survivor, but bed bound except for being hoisted into a chair. Any 75th birthday gifts, games, activities that aren't high tech and only require 1 hand to use?

My uncle turned 90 recently, I actually just got him a nice box of shortbread biscuits that were packaged in twos so that there was no rush to eat them once the packet was open.

There is very little you want or need when you are in frail health. Could he manage to press buttons to play an audio book on CD?

Aftershave? Room scents if he is in his own space? Thermal socks? Blankets? Food if he doesn’t have dysphasia? Photo frames? I’m thinking about starting an autograph collection for all my Dads old favourites for Christmas. Funny mugs? My family play left handed dominoes and Jenga (apart from my lefty nephew who has to play right handed!). There are card holders you can buy if your uncle is a fan of card games. Add a poker chip set if he enjoys that, or backgammon would be good. Games of chance would be a hit if he is still feeling very tired post stroke because they require less effort. If he is a car fiend and has a wheel chair then a personalised number plate for it. I hope he has a good day!

A cushion, a footstool or a throw? How about some framed photos for his wall?
