Hi, pls can anyone recommend a tracker for an elderly person with dementia. He doesn’t have a phone anymore so cannot track that way. It needs to be relatively simple as my mother needs to be able to see where he is via her phone. Not apple tags pls. Any recommendations? Thanks

The Locaite App can be used on multiple phones for one device. Both my sister and I 'track' our Dad. Dad wears it on a lanyard.

We used an air tag to track a soft toy from Cambridge to South Africa a couple of years ago - the tag doesn't transmit a signal itself, if an IPhone gets within a certain distance of it the IPhone notices it and forwards the location of the sighting to apple, which updates your map.

In central London where you are never more than a couple of meters from several iPhones they are super accurate and live, on a hill walk not that much use at all for locating someone.
