Zimmer frame recommendation

My Dad is struggling to walk in the house- he can shuffle a few steps but is fearful of falling as he has had a number of falls when outside.
He is waiting “assessment” for home adaptations but I’m thinking a zimmer frame would be helpful. I’m looking online and wonder if anyone can recommend one - I’m thinking of one without wheels to offer the most stability?

You really need to ask for an OT assessment - buying equipment off the peg so to speak can be dangerous.
An OT will also look at things like handles, rails etc around the home.

Thank you @Soontobe60 we are waiting for this - I wanted to get him some support while he waits as I thought it might be better to keep him moving but I take your point and we will wait for the professionals….

Definitely wait for the OT. It can do more harm than good getting the wrong piece of equipment or one that they haven't been shown properly how to use.

Makes me wince when I see people out and about who haven't been shown how to use crutches or had a walking stick adjusted properly!

The ones without wheels may be more stable when stationary. But when moving a wheeled one stays level and in full contact with the ground at all times, whereas the 'leg' type has to be picked up to move and is then a lot less stable.
