Sorry boring question Can anyone recommend a king size mattress protector that's waterproof but tumble stable and not too heavy when wet?

This one is fine in the dryer. I have this and a towelling one for my guest bedroom. The quilted one dries fine and is more pleasant to sleep on. Never actually been tested but bought ‘ just in case’.

I had a John Lewis heat regulating one that was really good. But bought one from
My Panda life when I bought a new mattress. I had a sicky cat. And it's been brilliant.

I would use a mattress protector and then a draw sheet type thing which goes over the top sheet and is also waterproof. It helps prevent having to change the whole bed

We have this kind of thing for bed wetting kids, it's much easier than changing the whole bed

I’ve got a bunch of these for my mum. Does a great job of protecting the mattress from little accidents, whether incontinence related or spilling her drinks (she falls asleep clutching her drink).

Mums machine has a good spin on it so it’s not overly heavy when wet, but I’ve not compared to others. We also line dry (doesn’t take long) but it does say it is suitable for tumble dryers on a low heat.

Thanks all. We had a quilted one but it soaks up too much water. I got a John Lewis towelling one it says line dry but going to give it a go. Next try will be the Asda one

Thanks!

We have these on guest beds, in case visiting kids have little accidents. They don't rustle, have a flocked cotton top, but are completely waterproof. They don't get heavy when wet like the padded ones.

There will be a local continence nurse service who can assess their incontinence if that helps. They can provide on prescription pads, bed pads and a delivery/disposal service.

Was going to say similar - your be better off with a waterproof mattress.

We have a waterproof mattress cover just a standard double but then I put disposable bread pads over the top. Two rows of 3 works well. Accidents are less now. But that way just a bottom sheet to wash.
