DMIL qualifies for AA at the higher rate. Is there anything else she might be eligible for? She does not presently get pension credit, I thought about that maybe. Also checked the disabled railcard.

Pension credit is means tested so if she has savings she may not be eligible. AA isn't, something to bear in mind.

My DM lives off £140 a week, not entitled to any other help as she has savings over £16k. She supplements her income with things like the winter fuel payment and the interest on her savings which she has paid monthly.

Might she have a drive she can rent out via Just Park website?
Probably not but if so it's just an easy way to make a bit extra.

Council tax reduction (sole occupant) or total disregard (dependant on type of illness or used to be mental impairment iirc)?
