CHC funding

Has anyone's relative received this? I know it's extremely difficult to obtain.
Do you mind telling me what their condition was & how unwell they were please?

Also considering using a specialist solicitor if anyone has any recs.

MIL was left severely disabled by a stroke. Paralysed, incontinent and unable to communicate. But she didn't qualify as her condition was stable and her needs could be met by a standard care packaging.
FIL got it because the pain meds for his prostate cancer caused diarrhoea and vomiting so his diabetes abd heart condition became unstable and needed daily monitoring by a nurse and his meds adjusted as appropriate.
