My mum is very clean. Daily shower , clean clothes every day, changes her bed frequently etc. She disposes of small incontinence pads in the bathroom bin. They are wrapped in a small plastic disposal bag first. The bin is emptied every few days but it still smells.
How can I tackle this without causing offence ?

Can you give her scented bags to put the pads in? How often is the bin emptied? I was having to empty mum's bin every day especially in summer.

You can buy scented disposable bags.

scented nappy bags and a little neutradol powder in the bin

If it’s just the bin that smells it needs to be emptied daily and possibly twice daily in summer. You thread title says body odour though so implies she smells.

Ah I think I was confused by talk of regular showering and clothes changes.

Possibly the bin itself needs cleaning. Give it a sniff after taking out the binbag and before putting the new one in. Clean it if necessary.
