Elderly parents

Can you recommend a really nice care home in North Hampshire, Surrey or SW London?

This is for my Mum who does not have dementia but is now dangerously immobile. She also needs some fun and company. She is self funding and has enough money but what she is worried about is finding herself in a home with more unwell people who are not able to engage.

Bournewood Manor in Farnham was very nice when my mother was there.

My father is in a Cinnamon home in South Hampshire and it's amazing! They might have something near you.

A relative was in Beacon House in Fleet - some while ago, but it seemed very nice - didn't smell of wee, small capacity, individual care. She & her immediate family were well off so I think it was the nicest they could find locally.

Could you look at Supported Living accommodation with carers on site? This seems to be the new way, especially for people who are social and still lucid.

My DM was at Moorlands Lodge which is a Signature home in Hindhead just on the Surrey/Hampshire border. Not perfect (not sure anywhere can be) but good.
