Self-employed carer

FIL has a self-employed carer, she assembles his meals, walks his dog and sometimes helps him get dressed etc. Do we need to think about insurance for if she has an accident in his house or is this something home insurance generally covers? I know she has her own insurance in case she causes harm to one of her clients or damages their property and she is definitely self-employed rather than us being her employer for tax purposes.
I've never thought of having insurance for my cleaner or anyone else who does any work in my house so I can't imagine we would need to arrange special insurance but thought I'd better check.

We can’t possibly tell you what your home insurance covers - there isn’t a standard list. Talk to the insurance company. Yes, they may tell you things you don’t want to hear, but anything you don’t tell them now they can use later as reason to refuse a claim

Thank you, we've checked with his policy provider and they're covered up to £10 million. Yet another hurdle in the minefield of elderly relatives care surmounted, now to go and find a urine bottle that he phoned us requesting at 10.30pm last night. 🙄

@Recycledblonde my parents local pharmacy provided both male & female urine bottles for my elderly parents at no charge when I asked recently .... she is worth her weight in gold the amount of support and care she provides for our local elderly population.
