Key safe

Needing to get a Keysafe fitted and wondered if there are specific company's that do this or if there's specific keysafes that are recommended?
We've seen one that says police approved on Amazon.

DH fitted one for Mil and has also done one for an elderly neighbour. This is it:

He said he thought it was the best one for the price and has a cover to make it a bit less obvious.

Some councils provide them for residents- worth asking?

We use a Masterlock.

Local council will fit one if we provide it, and I have found a number for somewhere else to ring tomorrow also. I think they provide and fit but not sure what key safe they use.

Yes, do contact council first - we were in Cheshire and they fitted one even though we were not eligible for any other benefits. We paid a small amount, only about £5 or so a month, for a fall alarm and key safe system.

We used a company called telecare and for a pretty reasonable monthly subscription you get emergency call out subscription too. They provided and fitted the key safe for a one off fee. Very fuss free and meant mum could go out and leave dad with his emergency call button

Just looked and it is only surrey and in partnership with the council - your local council may have similar?

My mum has sorted the emergency call out pendent, they're coming tomorrow to fit it.
DGM is currently in a care home until we get everything for a home sorted. She was in hospital after a fall and a chest infection.
Rapidly gone downhill since. She's gone from being able to wash and dress herself to not even being able to take herself to the toilet.
SS have sorted a 4 X a day care package so the key safe is the last thing for us to get sorted before we can get her home. She's really not liking the care home and barely eaten since she's been there. Hoping that once she's home she'll start eating again.

No advice except to add that I have found a key safe invaluable with forgetful teens. my DP fitted ours and it wasn't difficult apparently.

Thanks again for all your help. Just got the phone to the local council, they supply and fit for £59 and its the supra Keysafe we were looking at too.
They're coming Monday.

Thankyou. It's a handy man service the council provides. They've actually rang again and said that they can come tomorrow which is great however when I visited DGM this morning she didn't seem very good at all. Apparently had a bit of a funny turn with slurred speech at 7am but recovered quickly according to the nurses but she's definitely not herself, doesn't seem to be very with it.
They've had to Dr check her over and all her obs are fine. But now after the initial excitement of things coming into place my DM and I are worried about her coming home now. We want her home as that's where she wants to be but at least we know she's safe at the care home and checked on regularly.
