Scotland vs Kent:What do I do with big schools move decision?

We have choice between moving to Scotland (Perthshire, Dunblane probably)..and putting eldest DD in high school there (DS and DD2 to follow) OR move to Kent (somewhere between Maidstone and Canterbury). DD1 has got v good results in 11+ here in Northern Ireland. DESPERATE for ADVICE re.
How hard is it to get all 3 kids in Grammar Schools in this area of Kent?
We have house budget about £300-350 for 4 bed. Would we find anything in decent area?

Also re. Scotland - DD would be youngest in 1st year high (..should be going back to P7 but already done all the work because of NI 11+ test). Anybody rate high schools in Perthshire/Stirling area?

Have to make decision fairly quick. HONEST ADVICE VERY VERY WELCOMED!

Hi TheCrackFox..DH looking into Linlithgow thanks..again estate agents bit pessimistic about property in area saying it's very high demand and lots of people after same thing as us, but looks lovely place!

AgentProvocateur..yes still considering ED thanks. DH does 35 minute commute by train now, so you're right, I don't think it'll be a big problem from Dunblane. Good to have reassurance that it's not a mad plan though, when you've not actually done it!

I'm in East Dunbartonshire and have no issues with any of the schools here .. also have friends in Stirling/Falkirk who commute by train into Glasgow for work - very quick, easy service - Much better than driving (no parking!)... and my DD has similar school friends in those area.

On the P7 / S1 thing - P7 round here is often less academical and more about social and preparation for Senior life - they do residential week and run a range of 'events' in the school which the kids are constructively organising.. very good for the team building / finding other strenghts - well worth it in my opinion!

Have you considered Lanark? Good schools and not too far from glasgow for commute. Dont know about house prices though...
