Can any pianists advise me if this piano might be ok?

I've been offered a Steinbach upright piano, about 5 yrs old and wondered if it would be ok for my ds (aged 6) to play. He's been having lessons for almost two years but has so far been learning on a weighted keyboard. His piano teacher has suggested that he will need to move on to a real piano this year. Unfortunately she is on holiday at the moment and I'm going to see this piano tomorrow so I can't ask her advice. They want £400 for it. Any advice greatly received. Thanks

talking of good organists I'd better get sorted who's going to be playing for DS3's Christening - seen as though I can't be in 2 places at once.

I do have two people that occasionaly play for me if I need them to but, well, without wanting to sound like I'm being horrible (or without wanting to make it sound like I think I'm fantastic - which I'm not) , they're not very good - I'm extremely grateful for their help - but usually am not actually in church when they play - on the occasions I have been their it's been really hard to listen to.

Sadly the bloke that played for DS2's Christening can't come up again (lives in London) to see his Aunt and Uncle as his wife is due her 3rd DC soon.

ARGHHHHHHHHH

(ps sorry for total hi-jack - just been thinking about it as I was typing my posts on this thread)

Clavinovas are a lot better than they used to be. And the fact that you can play with headphones is a plus (although not something a learner should be doing all the time.)
I had one when I lived on my own in a terraced house. We now have a 6 ft grand but have kept the clavinova as well.

DH fantasises about building an organ in some sort of outbuilding but as we only have a garden shed it isn't going to happen.
