What alternative job could I do as a senior leader?

Currently on SLT at my school (deputy) but I am burnt out and not sure how long I can handle doing 4 leader's jobs worth in one role. I have a 6 year old and 2 year old and I feel like I'm just missing out on them growing up as I'm either working or I'm stressed dealing with the fall out at work.

my salary is around £60k and I would need to keep around that salary for us to maintain the life we have.

Any ideas for alternative careers for me to look into? Education consultants etc seem to only make around £40k

How much experience of SEN do you have? There is a growing demand for SEN specialist tutors (these aren’t always traditional tutor roles), independent specialist teachers, and EOTAS/EOTIS/C co-ordinators.

I have SEND experience but probably not something I want to do full time as it's not my full area of expertise

was In a very similar situation.

ended up quitting with nothing to go to.

now in a job which on paper is a huge pay cut but because of the difference in pension contributions isn’t too dire. Use salary calculator to figure out what’s the minimum you could take home with much lower contributions. You might be surprised!

Maybe think about lifestyle changes so you can reduce wages?

Ofsted inspector? I've no idea how much they pay, but they often recruit former teachers.
