Will my reception child's attendance before age five still count?

Hello, any help will be highly appreciated please.
so my son attends reception. He turned 5 last term ( just before Easter holidays). so technically this is the first term that he is meant to be in full time education.
however he had some absence at the beginning of the year ( due to new school and his immune system adjusting).

so his current attendance is 89.2. I have read that they would escalate as he falls under persistent absentee category.

since mid March he had didn’t have any other sick episodes. But today he has his first ( his first one after turning 5).

due to this, will they be escalating? Or is the % before he turned 5 disregarded?

it’s confusing as it hasn’t reset when he turned 5.

It won’t reset.

but they don’t look at anything before statutory school age.

The percentage is for the year but there won't be any action as he wasn't compulsory school age. I wouldn't worry at all I work in a related field and 89 although lower than people would like is not cause for alarm or major escalation even in older children
