Focus on why you want to home school rather than what you don't want. Try to find like-minded people to socialize with. It maybe you can then do some shared learning together. Oh and go to all the museums and places during the week. So much nicer.

Join HEFA - Home Education For All on Facebook.
The best group out there regarding HE.

Good Luck!

To start with, are you home educating, where you provide the education, or are you homeschooling, where the school give your child work to complete at home? They are very different. At 6 most of it will be learning through play, outings and games. Have a look for a local home education group on Facebook.

Why do you gave 'mum guilt' over this if you think it is in your DD's best interest?

were they previously in school?

advice will depend on any level of Sen or disability or not but at this age key focus is usually learning to read and basic maths - adding and subtracting with some simple multiplication.

Provided you are doing it because you think it is best for her then you don't need to feel guilty. Worried, anxious maybe, but not guilt.

Best of luck.

I home educate my 3. At first I was full of guilt, even though it was best for them and me, just because I thought they were going to miss out on stuff, but they don't. They have old school friends and we go to home ed groups.nive even arranged a home ed group with our local soft play, with 25% off!! We do home ed pe too. Make sure they have othe ways of socialising. Mi e do brownies, beavers and gymnastics, plus the 2 home ed groups. Sometimes there's also extra groups on through out the month

Make sure to join your local home ed group or make your own one! It's the best thing I've done for my child, she's having a great time and has loads of friends. She's 6 now and has never been to school. Her handwriting is beautiful and she's reading everything that I throw at her. The other day she said 'I love maths'! Honestly it's such a relief to hear that she loves things I learnt to hate because of school.
