Teacher leaving mud term

Evening,
Found out recently that our DS's preschool teacher is leaving middle of next term...
For a bit of context; it's a tiny preschool with just 6, 3-4 yr olds so just the one teacher who they all adore. My DS is very sensitive to change and has really found this teacher their safe person and thrived in preschool due to this.
I dont think that they'll find a permanent replacement before the teacher leaves which means supply will be covering.
Not really sure what I'm asking, just hoping for reassurance my DS will be ok with that lack of stability..?
Thankyou

how does that work with safeguarding if she's alone with the kids all day? what happens if one of them needs first aid or something? it's seems unlikely there's no other adults in the room

The preschool is within the primary school, in a room next to reception class etc So there are other members of staff about if needed. So not like a childminder being solely in charge but still the primary adult

Change happens. Your dc will experience it and learn from it. Teaching staff are aware that change is disruptive and some dcs will need reassurance. You just have to let them get on with their job.

I'm sure you're child will be absolutely fine, children can be very good at adapting to new situations and it's very likely he has already had supply teachers in the past.

The school has some time to work out a plan and may look for a supply teacher to cover the class full time or potentially a job share using supply staff so not necessarily lots of instability. In fact it may actually be beneficial for him to experience different staff before starting school next year, especially if he had such a secure attachment to the previous teacher.
