my child had been suspended for something and then permanently excluded no further evidence came into light not that they already knew about they illegally converted it into a pex at the governors review appeal it was obvious they were being bias they just said they cant do anything and took the heads side they didnt even acknowledge that what the head did was illegal and when making the decision the head didnt even leave the room she just stayed there whilst they made the decision this is an academy school

You need to be really clear what part of the process wasn't followed. So get the process and clearly identify that.

However, if they had followed the process, is it not likely the result would still have been pex? If so maybe you need to accept it and move forward? If it is overturned on a technicality can they not just do the process again properly?

What is being offered to your DC? An alternate school or PRU? Can they continue with their GCSEs?

If you don't agree with the decision, you have the right to request an independent review panel. Email the clerk to governors.

Is this the one where they made a bomb threat to the school?

As you were told before (if you are the person I am thinking of) it was NOT an appeal. It was The Governors checking the correct process had been followed. If it had then Governors must uphold the decision of The Head.
NOW you can appeal if you choose to but its very very unlikely to succeed if everything was done properly. Your best bet would be to work with your LEA to find your child an aalternative school now

You might be better updating previous threads. It feels as if you are flogging a dead-horse and your energy might be better spent on establishing suitable alternative educational provision (pru, eotas) for your dc before they miss too much education and risk their gcses. Iirc this school was not a good fit prior to the incident.

You are fortunate that in each of your other threads you have received excellent info.
But agree if you returned to those threads the same experienced posters would be better able to support you through the process.
If I remember well your issue was with other teens at the PRU that your dd had negative experiences with?

thank you i will do that @BreakingBroken @LIZS
