To transfer or not?

I am struggling with a decision so much I am turning to the wisdom of Mumsnet for help...
I am 48 and looking at an additional new career. I have finished 1 year of a degree at College A and have good marks. The teachers are, on the whole, really bad though and the college is a bit of a disaster. I have the chance to transfer into year 2 at a new college, College B, but will have knowledge gaps that I need to fill.
Pros for staying at College A
I know what to expect. I have read the course materials for year 2 and know I can do it.
I have friends there.
It’s relatively easy to get to.
It is cheaper.
Cons for staying at College A
It’s hard to fit into my working week as it’s on a Monday and Tuesday, although I have managed so far, it’s tough.
I would have to lose my amazing physio as he only does Tuesday mornings (and I’m struggling post op with an injury and pain).
The course leader and some of the content is pretty awful - but then a lot of academia is - and it’s quite underwhelming. More just get through and pass than enjoy.
Pros for going to College B.
They run the course on a Saturday and Sunday so I can make it fit better into my working week.
They have a much nicer clinic and college campus.
It seems like they’ll have better teachers (but who knows). Many of the books we study are written by teachers from or at College B which seems a plus.
Cons for going to College B.
I have a knowledge gap that I would need to learn on my own (although I’d have until spring to do so).
It’s much more expensive (£6500 over the 2 years).
Aside from the knowledge gap, I’m sure they’d be other stuff I don’t know, terminology they use etc - would I always just feel a bit behind?

I’ve even tried a magic 8 ball I’m so torn :D
Any advice, thoughts, gratefully received.
Thank you.

It sounds like college B will mean better employability but that depends what kind of work it is and how it is carried out. Would you be looking for a job or a contract or self employed work? Would people know which college you studied at? Personally I think i'd go for the better one but it depends if you are just doing it for the piece of paper or you really want to learn the most you can.

That's a really good point, thank you. And it does feel like with College A I am just there for the piece of paper as it's so unenthusiastic. But it's that unkown isn't it of College B and I guess I'll never know for sure. Perhaps my biggest fear is the regret if I change and it's the same! Gahhhhh
