Kumon vs Beestar, any experience?

Does anyone have experience with either or both? We're debating between the two. We find Kumon to be too repetitive but we would like more insight from others before we make a judgement call. Thank you in advance!

You've been using Beestar for some time though? What are your thoughts?

The grim reality is that learning and becoming proficient in any topic requires a lot of repetition.

Just ask anyone that's good at programming, playing the piano or a sport.

Drills, however boring they may be, make us very very good over time.

That is quite a thought though, I do agree that repetitive questions can be helpful, like memorizing the multiplication table, however, how far can memorizing answers/repetition go?

So far the kids have really enjoyed it. There are enough worksheets for the kids to either zip through them or go to different grade levels at their choice. Having been a teacher for over a decade I understand that kids don't fit a specific style and so far Beestar has really been able to help the kids feel more interested in math.

It's not so much memorising the answers or repetition as such, it's repeating the method and/or approach over and over and over again.

All I meant is that companies will sometimes describe their learning experiences as being better or more colourful than this but sometimes all any of us need to do is to do the same thing over and over again!
