Any comments about KEHS sixth form? Its record both excellent & outstanding A level result.
Are the teachers with strong support to all students? Besides the academic result , any specific areas are worth to study there?

What, specifically, are you concerned about?

As you say, it has had an excellent reputation for years - well, decades and decades.

My mum, my two sisters and I all went there, and my niece is there now. It's academic and expects the work to be put in, but not in a hothouse way. Staff are great, and it's small enough to feel seen. Lots of extra curriculars. We are all arts/humanities people, but it is very strong in STEM too. A lot of girls continue to sixth form, so there aren't a huge number of external places available. I have my 30 year reunion coming up in the summer, I'd say about 70% of my year group are going, same as we did ten years ago. If we'd hated it we wouldn't be!

Thanks for your reply! I could feel the strong bond and love among all the girls who studied there.
My daughter has recently received a conditional offer for sixth forms, and we consider her very lucky. We are mainly concerned about two things, relocation & teaching support. If we don't move home, she will need at least 1.5 hours to get to school.

We don't know if teachers' support is sufficient, so most girls need extra tutoring time outside of school.
We are also concerned about whether the in-school teaching is enough. Does the school offer specific programs for medicine, regular revision sessions, one-on-one support, subject clinics, or drop-in hours? I don't think we can provide much support for tutoring without extra fees.

She is currently attending a private school, which is not known for being particularly prestigious or high-performing. She is considering whether it would be worthwhile to transfer to KEHS to study A levels. Beyond academic performance, are there other factors worth considering?
