Teddington is nice. Good choice of state primaries, close to the park for some green space, relatively decent high street and a direct, albeit slow, train to Waterloo (35-40mins).

Tons of stuff. I live in the north Teddington area. There is a class for almost every junior activity you could want, and at every level you could want, whether for fun or to become a national champion/star. I'm guessing your children are too young for you to know what they are into yet?

All the local schools are good or outstanding, at primary and secondary.

oh thats amazing thank you, trying to pick places blind with not much time is tricky. we were looking east sheen and richmond but were just not seeing the properties we can afford that seem decent for a family. Teddington and Hampton Wick seem slightly more amenable.

Look at Hampton Hill too, near to Fulwell train station.

North Kingston is nice too.
