Writing digraphs in reverse order

I was wondering if it’s common for reception age children to write digraphs they’re learning in reverse order for example writing “ia” not “ai”?

My daughter who is now in year 3 always did this with vowel digraphs and she is going through a dyslexic assessment (I’m positive she is and school agrees).

My son is in reception now and has started recognising the phase 3 digraphs he is learning and homework was to practice writing them but he is doing the same thing in reversing all the vowel digraphs that my daughter used to do so it’s making me wonder if he will be dyslexic too.

thanks

I think it’s quite normal for children to do that when they’re still learning

I would say it could be a sign of dyslexia. But obs wait and see if other signs.
