SATs workbooks

I'm thinking of buying my DS (9) some KS2 workbooks. He's currently in year 4 and is a little behind, I want him to do well in the year 6 SATs.

(I know not everyone will think I'm doing the right thing but that's not really what I'm asking).

So basically, which ones should I buy? What level are they supposed to get in year 6? is it a 4b or something?

DD's school recommended the CGP ones - seem pretty good.

I've always bought a set of the Letts which I buy from WH Smiths. There is no harm in getting the books at all. I got key stage 1, 2 and 3 which are on hand now for DD doing a bit of revision for key stage 3 which take place next week.

It's a level 4 that is the expected level at year 6. Our school didnt give us sub levels. A 4b would indicate that they are keeping up nicely. I know that teachers/parents hate the sats and I dont stress about them. DD is reluctancly looking through the books. If it was GSCE (not long off now), then I would be making sure she revised extensively.
