Knightsbridge school for older kids

Hello there,

we are a French American family, currently living in Paris and moving to UK next year. I'm trying to navigate the British school system and it sounds easier to say than to do!
We are considering many schools for DC ( year 5 and 7 in 2025) all independent ( we are not UK citizens). The system seems highly selective and I'm getting lost!!! I bumped into Knightsbridge School, which is not selective, in a lovely neighborhood and it looks good on paper. I'd love to hear some parents whose children are currently there, specifically during senior years... good, no good? Thank you all for your help and time!

The senior school is very new (I think?) and extremely small. Very limiting for friendships, sports teams etc, and I expect would also have very limited GCSE options (I also wonder about its viability with the introduction of VAT in January). Another thing to be aware of is that the school only goes through Year 11 (age 16), so you will have to find another school for sixth form (Years 12 & 13 - ages 17-18). Students often move schools for sixth form, so this isn’t a huge deal, but when you’re already making a big move, you might want to choose somewhere they can stay until 18 if they want.

Yes it's very new and yes, they move on for Sixth Form :( I'll definitely keep these in mind when choosing! Thank you!
