Hello all,
I have a daughter in Yr 5 at one of the smaller North London girls schools and we’re considering our options for senior schools at the moment. Would anyone be able to give me any personal advice on life at any of the following:

City of London Girls
Channing
SHHS
Highgate

and any other obvious options I’m missing?

thank you!

I do not have personal experience with any of these four schools. But if you put Channing along with the other three (which most would say are a class above in terms of competitive entry), then I would add Queen's College and Francis Holland (Regent's Park). Though, these two are not in North London (but nor is CLSG), plenty of pupils from North London (particularly Islington) choose them.

Highgate is a fantastic school but very fast-paced academically and entry is competitive. Feel free to PM me if you want to ask any questions!

UCS for sixth form.
maybe worth looking into Henrietta Barnett - state, but excellent academics on par or better than most mentioned on these lists.

OP What do you value most in a school: intake ability (often reflecting academic results), teaching quality, extracurricular activities, educational environment (such as co-education or pushy, hothouse culture, more balanced diversity setup ), facilities and cost?
