My daughter is due to join an all girls school in September a conscious decision after a primary school education being made to sit next to disruptive boys in an attempt to help they boys moderate their behaviour. This seems unfair on girls and her education has been impacted as a result.
The council have now stated that they want to change to co-Ed and have only given 4 weeks for a consultation.
We are trying to pull together a value statement for the importance of single sex provision but having not experienced it myself I am struggling to articulate it over and above what I have stated above. I'd be really grateful if others could share their experience.
