Does anybody's school use Parentmail to contact you? Are there any problems?

The school I work at is thinking of using
the Parentmail system to contact parents, and I wondered if anyone had experience of it (from either side) & are there many problems - especially with emails not getting through.

Parent mail 2 is great. I just get the paper letters by email. Much more efficient

both dc's secondary schools use it - much easier although the admin staff invariably forget to attach the actual letters

ds2's school did texts too - didn't like them at all

DCs school uses parentmail - they attach the letters to the email so it works fine. Much prefer it to paper letters.

Our school uses both text and email, very little paper these days. I prefer it like this.

Typically, texts are used for short reminders/changes, and also to let us know when the school has emailed us. Email is used for letters, forms and newsletters, but these are also available on the school website.

Zombie thread - but still appropriate and up to date.

Email is excellent but avoid parent mail like the plague. Their whole concept is broken because they never actually deliver any messages. They only tell you that you have a message to be collected. It's an aggravating waste of time for everyone.
