Home schooling query

Hi can you homeschool temporarily for a few months and take kids back later or would you have to register them again?
I find it unacceptable that my hair smells Smokey after doing the school run because of wood stoves near the school (same street full of old terraced houses) and think the chemicals are bad.

So you want to take your children out of school because of houses using fires to keep warm in the cold snap?

I really feel like that is not in your children’s best interest.

Sorry this is utterly bonkers. And I'm a homeschool mum!

If you look on Facebook group mums for lungs they say even an eco design stove emits 450x more pollution than central heating it’s just too upsetting

Technically you can remove your children from school for any reason.

If you want a place in a few months time apply again... but their places may not still be available and they might be sent to different schools.

Then won't you have the same problem next year?

Surely walking down the street is more emissions?
I would not think it a good idea to remove your children from school over houses using fire places. This would upset their whole routine and learning...

Would you not be concerned if your hair smelled Smokey after school run of only a few minutes ?
