Has anyone who’s children went to Steiner schools , grown up with any academic achievements . I get it , and i know this isn’t the most important thing in life . I would still like to know that this is also possible with attending Steiner .
i understand that it also depends on child , and parent , but still interested to hear from any older Steiner parents , who kids did well in GCSEs , etc..
Thank you .

I went to a steiner school from class 1 to class 8 (age 14), then went to a state school, got good gcse's and A Levels, went on to uni etc, as did my sibling and many of my Steiner friends.

Here!
My year all did well a Steiner school and are functioning members of society with a good clutch of GCSEs, almost all have 2nd degrees, In fact, I think I am the only one without. A levels weren't offered so we left for college.

It breaks down as follows;
Dr - now GP
Advance Nurse
Teacher
2x Academics PHD - Lecturing, books, etc
IT specialist
International Dressage riders - hoping to be olympian
Artist
Accountant
Content Creator for Husband's business
Me in the business field/Neurodiversity - Project managing and the like!

Other people of note in the surrounding year groups
Goldsmith
Bafta-winning Kids TV Producer
Tom Burke - Actor

Let me know if you have any more questions. I would say everyone has met their potential.

I would like to think that becoming a good functioning member of society is the bare minimum 😅

Would have to add to that list the wide range of purple that did not benefit from such education.....

My son is at a Steiner school, but we have seen the vast majority of students in the older years to go on to higher education-university. Graduates have gone on to study medicine, marine science, law and engineering. I think that’s a bit of a misconception that everyone who comes from out a Steiner school is going to be an art student, but as we’ve seen many graduates are attracted to the sciences.

At our school students prepare a project which is in line with a thesis at undergraduate level, I actually think this prepares them much better for university than merely acing an exam.
