Can the principal at my child's School refuse to give me my child because I'm a bus driver. I could walk, fly, drive, or skateboard to pick up my daughter but they will not let her get on the bus with me. Despite my employer saying it's okay. This led to me being fired. I have a court order parenting plan with her father that states I'm allowed to pick her up. It states what daycare she supposed to go to. Her father put her in a different daycare that the school is insistent for his convenience she goes to dispite the order. Because I'm a bus driver and wanted my daughter they tried to have me arrested for all the kids on my bus saying they were going to charge me with about 80 3d degree felonies for kidnapping and holding the kids hostage because I was telling them I wanted my daughter. Please advise.

How were you holding kids hostage?

You sound like you're in America. Not sure how much use this largely UK site can be to you, but wish you all the best.

Your post is highly co fusing- you mean you're a school bus driver and took the kids off their normal route, to specifically pick up yours? Then yes you did 'kidnap' the other kids as you went off the prescribed route, for your own convenience. Also assume you're in America? But to be honest the post is confusing, if real.

No I was parked at the school. I told them to take the kids off my bus as I was told if I needed to leave the bus it had to be empty. The school is giving my kid to a third party that is not approved by our court order per her dad's convenience, (it's not more convenient for him)! The rule is when the parents disagree the school makes the decision but they are limited in time and location to their property and the daycare is on the property but is not affiliated with them in anyway. They just use the building once school ends.

Kids from where? I'm m sorry it still makes little sense. You made kids get off the bus because you believe there is a breach of your custody orders? What school was the bus affiliated to? The one you dropped them off at? We're they supposed to be dropped there or were you abandoning them? Were you supposed to be picking up your kid or saw someone you didn't agree to pick them up, on dads time?

20 past one in a morning yet another confusing thread.
It's so interesting they always come about same time, +/-15 min in different topics

I'm trying to figure this out!
You are a school bus driver and also have a child to collect from school and your employer is happy for you to have them on your bus.
You have children on your bus when you arrive to collect your child.
You have to leave the bus to go collect your child from the classroom
But you have to make the children get off the bus whilst you do so as you cannot leave them alone on the bus.

Is this right? Because, if so, there is no way you can get the children off the bus and make them wait- presumably on the pavement or similar- whilst you collect your child. That's not safe which is why presumably you have lost your job.

The rest I can't make head nor tail of!

The reference to third degree felonies leads me to suspect that you are in the USA. If that is the case, you are unlikely to get any useful advice here. As this is predominantly a UK site, posters will be familiar with UK law, not US law.
