What’s the lowest Twinkl subscription if I just want to watch videos?

I have lots of paper resources, it’s really just the videos I want to watch. Which subscription package would enable that?

Thank you 💐

I read this as "Twink!" and felt so worried momentarily 🤣

If you click on the video that you want to view, it'll tell you which package you need. However, I think most require the 'ultimate' (most expensive) package. I've recently recieved an email from them for a one month subscription for 99p rather than the usual £8-something. I'm
not sure if this is an open offer, or just emailed to specific accounts.

Don’t pay for a Twinkl account. I don’t trust the company.

  1. They make it difficult to end subscriptions.
  2. They can get details of your new bank card without your permission.
  3. Other people can download from your account.

I am a teacher. I paid for a years subscription in September 2022 but quit teaching in May 2023. I have not used my account since then. I tried to close the account but could not see how to do it on the website. They sent me a ‘30 days until your subscription renews’ email but I could not see anyway to close the account. It frustrates me when companies do not put easy obvious ways to end a subscription. They could simply put a link on the email to a place you could end the subscription. I was busy and did not have time to search how to end it. However, I noticed on the payment section that the card details they had were for my old card which had expired so I thought that if I did not update the card details there is no way that they could take my money and I could avoid paying another years subscription. I was shocked when they deducted £101.88 for another year. When I looked on the account they had my new bank card details. I have no idea why companies have the right to do this. How does my bank give them new card details with out my permission? I asked Twinkl to refund me the £101.88 in the afternoon of the same day the money was taken from my account. Two days later they refused to give me the refund saying I had used the Twinkl account to download resources. I looked on the account and about 20 resources had been downloaded from it in the two days since it renewed. I have not taught since May. I had not touched the account since then. I have no idea how resources were being download from my account, I don’t know if it is a mistake by Twinkl or if someone else has access to my account but I now can’t get a full refund for the money.

I am really annoyed that they do not put a clear way to end the subscription on their Payments & Membership section. I am also shocked and angry that they can get the my new bank card details. They shouldn’t have the right to do this. We lead busy lives and have children to look after and pay for. When companies get to big they trick people into spending more money on their products. It is completely unfair. If it was from a car insurance company I would expect it but not from an education company that is meant to be making products to help people.
