Thinking about re-training as a lawyer

I am a mum to a 2 year old and am thinking about re-training as something. I've been in executive search in the commercial real estate sector for the past 12 years and hate it. I started my own company about 8 years ago and it was good in the beginning but since Covid it's been a really hard slog to make any fees. In a prior life I was an estate agent but also hated it. I had a traumatic teenage life and parents split up just before my first year exams of A-level so I completed an Access course and degree when I was mid-30s (I'm now 42) and got BSc Business 2:1 from a Russell Group uni so I know I've got it in me academically. I feel like I'm wasting away my life doing what I'm doing. Is it too late to become a lawyer? Would anyone recommend being a commercial property lawyer as I 'm thinking this would go hand in hand with my career to date? We are in the regions where I hear work/life balance is a bit better than being in London so I can still be with my toddler sometimes...

Any help would be gratefully received. Thanks!

You cannot just train in the specialism of property lawyer. You can try and get a paralegal job and see if you can then train with company but it will have to be varied so you can pass all the required exams. Look up The Law Society for details.
