I have no experience of these clubs, are they any good? What are the teachers like?

My children went to lcf and enjoyed it very much. My dd (age 10) went from Y2 - Y5 and had lots of fun, made lots of friends and learned to speak some Frech with an accent which put mine to shame!

My DD has done a lcf for a week (ams) in the last 2 summer hols - she got 100% achievement for French in her Autumn term report (Yr 3) so must have done her some good!
She also had lots of fun, but the teacher is fab.

DS1 did La Jolie Ronde for 2 years. he knows lots of songs - in a very haughy haughy haugh accent but he can't converse to save his life.

my DD has been doing La Jolie Ronde since 3 yrs old and loves it. Can sing songs and name body parts etc. She loves it and the nursery say the teacher is very good and does hand puppets. All the class seem to love it and run round counting in french etc and this is 30 mins each week during term times, so not intensive.
DD sings the songs in the bath and they are very funny.
So I would recommend Twickenham Jolie Ronde on this basis.

I am looking at buying into either one as a franchisee - I currently teach french and spanish at secondary school but want more felxibility with my hours, so this feedback has been v helpful

My 3yo DTS attend and they love it. The lessons are only 20 minutes long (for 3-5yo group) but they have picked up so much already (going for about 10 weeks). I have purchased one of the CDs and we listen to it quite often and the boys sing away to it.

We are going on holiday to France later in the year so hopefully, they will get a chance to practise a little of what they have learnt.

I will definitely be keeping it up even though at the schools around here, they do French from Year 1 onwards.
