Does any one have/ or had DC at Snaresbrook prep in woodford?
Can you share what it is like?
Do a lot of children leave at 7+ or stay until 11+?
Thanks

Hi I have my 3 year old starting their nursery this year. I think it is very personal of what you want for your kid. I had option for both schools, WGPS and Snaresbrook and I opted for later. I felt WGPS are very academically driven and produce great results but if your DC have some minor needs or need assistance they are not very inclusive compared to Snaresbrook Prep. I do not want my three year old to be put under pressure, not at this stage. I wanted a small cosy environment for my little one and a small number of children in the class and they ticked most boxes. Both are great schools in their own way and it all depends what you want for your child. Best of luck

God, this sounds absolutely scandalous but unfortunately not unusual in the ever struggling independent sector.

Decided against it in the end. Thanks!

It's a shame when schools go downhill. I'm hearing bad reviews about St Aubyns too. I think I would go for Forest if I was choosing a primary now.

Thought should update my experience here for other ppl who are interested in sending their kids to SPS for nursery. It has been 7 weeks since my child started nursery there and they have been brilliant. They have been very accommodating to all the requests I have made and can see a major positive difference in my child already. They have 1:4 class ratio instead of 1:8 which makes a huge difference and every child can be given the focus they require. It is a lovely nurturing school and I am so glad I made the choice of sending my child there. So far it is all positive experience
