My Son is in year 6, he was moved down a set in Maths this week and dropped to the lowest set in reading, he was very upset about the Maths in particular.

He was always around the middle academically apart from in the lower Juniors when he struggled to keep up in English and was put on the Lexia program by his school, the Lexia was great for him and I wondered if there is any app or site which is more of an all rounder, Maths and English which is interactive like Lexia? He did have IXL once as an English booster but it was a bit more of a chore for him.
I've looked at Century Tech which looks great I especially like the idea of the diagnostics to identify weak spots but Century didn't have great Trustpilot reviews. I've also looked at Atom, which I think has better reviews but seems geared towards Exams.

He was upset at being moved down in Maths as he was so proud of himself when he was moved up to that set last year, but we do the minimum at home usually, just what is compulsory and I think it's time to get into a better homework routine in preparation for secondary now, I'd like to identify his personal weaknesses.

My kid needs to take after school math program according to his teacher's suggestion. I am not familiar with the online math program so I have no idea which one would be suitable with kids. Anybody who have an experience with IXL or Beestar, please answer for it and it would be so helpful for me. Thank you and have a good one.

Numerise is Maths only but good value. It's Year 6 upwards and has a prepping for secondary course.

My son has used Doodle Maths for two years and he’s doing much better in school than he was before he started using it. Before Doodle he was really unmotivated and came back from school crying on multiple occasions about maths, so I thought we’d try it as a friend recommended it to me (doodlelearning.com).

In my opinion it’s a really good app, the questions are visual and feel more like playing a game rather than answering questions. It covers ks1 and ks2 so we’re planning on using it until he reaches the end of year 6.

You mentioned the diagnostics feature of Century, Doodle does this too. It also shows his progress in a graph, which is a nice way to show him how he’s doing. We’ve also started using Doodle English, although we've only been using it for a few months I’ve already seen a boost in his confidence. He looks forward to using it, which is a plus! Highly recommended.
