quick is water a macronutirent

just finishing 2nd copy of biology essay im sure it is but just wanted to check is water a macronutrient ?? tia

I don't know for sure but it sounds like it isn't from this definition

macronutrient -- Mineral nutrient used by organisms such as plants in relatively large quantities (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium).

but that's just a google response

Water is a macronutrient so often taken for granted that it's not even mentioned. But water is the second most vital of all your physical needs in terms of how fast you'll die if you don't get it. Further, water is extremely important to allow the body to "flush out" substances-including nutrients-that it may temporarily have too much of. This is an especially important factor for Multi-Dieters who are supplementing macrominerals.

Twiglett you're right now - water IS a macronutrient. Also proteins are. Minerals etc are micronutrients.
